About Emmijean

My real name is Missy and I live with my family in a small Ohio town along the Ohio River. I have great husband, Barry, and 4 absolutely outstanding children Thommy, Emmy, Gavin, and Alex.

I went to college for Civil Engineering and while attending I worked part time for Sears Portrait Studio. Somewhere along the line I quit school (with only 4 classes to graduate) and continued in photography.

By chance I moved to South Carolina where I became the manager of the Sears Portrait Studio in Florence for about 3 years. I really enjoyed my job and in the short time I was there I was nominated for Manager of the year. To be top ten in this huge company was a great honor that I never thought I'd see.

I left the company and did various jobs for a couple of years. I was a server in a restraunt, worked for gaming stores, and a 911 dispatch office in the county. I am glad I had the opportunity to experience the other jobs I feel that each job helped me to grow in one way or another.

When my husband and I relocated my family  back to Ohio the opportunity came open for me to return to the origional portrait studio I started in. So I have been back to Sears Portrait Studio for close to a year and was loving it. However there comes a time for change and that time has come for me.

I have recently started a new job with KB Toy store and feel that there is potential for me to grow within the company.

If I am not at work I seem to be doing homework with my 5year old, playing with my 1year old, or playing computer games.

My oldest two children live with their dad most of the time but only 5min. away from me. So I take every chance I can to see them. My oldest son is very active in sports which means that most of my weekends, when I am not working, I do my best to attend his games. My only daughter, Emmy, doesn't seem to participate in much any more. She used to attend dance classes and in the spring she likes to play baseball.

My husband and I both play MMORPG's (massively multiplayer online role playing games). Some of which include EverQuest, EverQuest II, Star Wars Galaxies, and we have also played World of Warcraft (WoW), and Guild Wars. We don't seem to do much else together but the kids keep us busy so we are quite limited on time.

I really am not one to brag, I don't have much confidence, I have low self-esteem, I don't take compliments well and I am by no means an extravert. However I like to keep this site so that not only will I have memories to look back on,  but I'd like to share them with others too. I am very proud of my kids and my photography so I figure why not show it off a little bit.
