Here is a thought...

While traveling for work the other day the statement was made.."That guy could sell Ice to an Eskimo.." so I began to think and proceded to comment..

"Why is it that when you meet a great sales person they can sell ice to eskimos? Why is it that they can not sell lava to Hawaiians ?"

This conversation continued and more questions were raised.."Are they not good enough to sell beer to a Germain .." and so on.

I think that we made it nearly all over the world. Just one of the stupid conversations that we have on our way to or from the job site.

Hey it made all of us laugh... *shrug*

Well seems as though I now have the option to add a photo album to my website so I think thats just what I am going to do. It will make things much easier instead of having so many different photo links within the site.

I started adding photos tonight that were recently taken down by the Ohio Riverside in Moundsville WV. It was early evening about 5pm and I was lying on the hood of my car killing a few min. before myself and a co-worker had to get to the job sit. I looked up to the sky and was absolutely amazed at the site that was before me.

On the rare occaision that you see a rainbow in the sky it looks like its standing up in more of a vertical position and you only see them when it rains. Well, I looked up to the sky by chance and there it was... so beautiful, peaceful but yet so vibrant and rich in all its colors! A rainbow that was lying FLAT againt the sky. You had to auctually look straight up at the sky to see it. Absolutely amazing and there wasn't a drop of rain...

While driving down the road this thought occured to me.Now that I sit and REALLY think about what it says it sure makes a great deal of sense.

    Sometimes I am not sure which truely more durable.. concrete or a child. I was in total panic on Saturday when my neighbor brought Alex to me covered in blood. Let me back up and explain a bit.

    Emmy and Gavin asked if they could go over to the neighbors apartment and I told them sure but to take care of Alex as I knew he was going to want to go with them. The kids always run around outside so I don't ever think much of it.

    While the kids are outside I have the front door proped open so I can hear them and Thommy is inside helping me hang pictures. I suddenly hear Alex screaming at the top of his lungs but that happens a great deal just because Gavin tends to pick on him. I didn't pay a ton of attention but then I heard his voice getting much louder and as I was jumping off the chair that I was using to stand on to hang my pictures two of the neighbor ladies were standing in my door holding Alex.

    I freaked at the sight that was before me, my youngest...

It is once again time for me to start posting some of my poems. I am going to start on them over the next few days. I have been writing a great deal over the past few months and even more so the past couple of weeks. I am not sure as to where all of the emotions and feelings are coming from (well I kida know where) but I have not been able to write for years. I guess that certain people in my life affect me in a specifc way and the evident feelings need to put on paper as to get them out of my system. As I have stated before ...I don't claim to be a writer but I do claim to have the need to express my feelings and emotions.

My 6year old son, Gavin, comes to me yesterday and whimpers that his tooth is loose. Although it seemed to bother him a slight bit he also had a look of excitement in his eyes as he wiggle the loose tooth in front of me. I felt the tooth and it was just a bit loose not anything that I thought anymore about.

Today while cleaning the kids bedroom Gavin again comes in the room full of total excitement and some pain showing me his now extremely loose tooth. He was complaing because he couldn't chew a piece of bubble gum because it made his tooth hurt. I told him the most reasonable thing I could think of... "So, don't chew any bubble gum then." I looked at his tooth one more time and wiggled the tiny thing myself. Yet again, it felt quite loose and even more so than the day before but I didn't really expect anything to come of it for a few days yet.

I send Gavin to get a bath and told him to make sure he brushed his teeth real well. Once more he had a complaint, "Mom I can't brush my teeth because my...

What a weekend ! I came home every day from Thursday through Sunday but holy cow am I tired after all of that.

Walking up and down each and every hill selling martigras beads and neon glow items, my goal was to have a great time there and make a bit of money ... preferably just enough to pay for college.

Thursday it was raining on and off, which everyone knows that its going to rain during Jambo. Happens every year. It was strange that this year had to of been the coolest year out there yet ! I think that even over the weekend with the sun it only got to the low 80's and the sun was shining so bright !

By Saturday morning I was so tired, I tried to make it there to start work by 10am but with out a doubt I ended up sleeping in and didn't get there until 11am. So I was still able to start work a little bit erlier than the second crew. I got started at 2pm and every night we got done around midnight.

Sunday I thought was going to be the worst day of all... seems the...
